Polis Basın Subaylığı’ndan verilen bilgiye göre bugün saat 16.20 sıralarında  Gelincik’te sakin Hamit TALAY (E-41) yönetiminde bulundurduğu FS 058 plakalı  salon aracı ile Serdarlı-Geçitkale anayolu arasında,Serdarlı -Geçitkale istikametine doğru seyir halinde olduğu bir sırada Sütlüce yol kavşağına geldiğinde tamamen kendi dikkatsızlığı ve ihmalkarlığı sonucu gidiş istikametine göre yolun sağına geçerek yol kenarında bulunan Geçitkale Belediyesine ait elektrik direğine çarptıktan sonra 2 metre yükseklikten boş tarlaya uçarak aracının damı üzerine düşmüştür.

Kaza sonucu araç sürücüsü Hamit TALAY ve araçta yolcu olarak bulunan Ayşe TALAY yaralanarak Gazimağusa Devlet Hastanesi’ne götürülerek müşahade altına alınmışlardır.

Kaza neticesinde FS 058 plakalı araç genel hasara uğrayarak takriben 60 Bin TL’lik maddi hasara uğradığı tespit edilmiştir. Polisin olayla ilgili soruşturması devam eder.
